Media Training
Media training is more than just learning about how to communicate with the media. After just one session you will be able to translate those skills into everyday communication ensuring you are far more effective than you’ve ever been.What are the key messages you are trying to communicate. Do you have a focus? What are you trying to communicate? Too often we find that delegates are keen for the journalist to fish out the message. We will teach you how to set the agenda and stick with it.
Too often the request for media training comes in when something negative is about to happen. Whilst you can be trained to handle such an eventuality we like to also stress the importance of pro-active media presence. We will show you how to create the stories that the media are likely to be interested in, how you then go about packaging that story and then how you finally deliver the key messages.
Having success with the media is not rocket science. It’s about understanding what the media want and then giving it to them. We will teach you how you can create a long lasting successful relationship with the media that delivers you millions of dollars of value to you and your company.
Our courses are either half day or full day, and can include press, radio, and television or combinations of each discipline.
We use professional radio and televisions studios. The reason is simple – only by seeing and experiencing the real thing will you know what is required.
